Leixlip Driving Test Centre
Leixlip Driving Test Centre opened on September 1st 2026. It is currently only a temporary driving test centre but it is hoped that it will be made permanent in the future if demand exists.
Entering Leixlip Driving Test Centre
As you enter the Leixlip driving test centre the driving tester will direct you to the car park to the right of the hotel. Entering the car park area you need to be very aware of pedestrians in the hotel car park, cars puling out and other learner drivers.
Leaving Leixlip Driving Test Centre
Upon leaving the car park space you will face a Stop sign. After stopping you will need to creep forward slightly and stop a second time. This is to see past the Springfield Hotel sign which is obstructing the view to the left.
The Springfield hotel is located in a 60kmph speed zone, Driving Test Candidates will need to take extra care to judge the speed of traffic. If unsure, it is best to wait for a safe gap before proceeding.
